The RSVP Trust

What our sponsors say.

It's been a privilege to be part of my sponsored child Tadeo's life over the past few years through RSVP. We look forward to receiving his letters and Christmas cards and reading about his progress at home and school.

RSVP has encouraged and enabled this regular contact between us to take place. They have also regularly kept me informed of any developments of the scheme. I especially enjoyed receiving the free DVD which included footage of some of the sponsored children.

I have previous experience of Child Sponsorship with a national Christian charity but prefer the RSVP scheme for it's 'personal' touch. I recommended the programme to my sister, who now also has a regular contact with her child in Rwanda.

I feel that all our lives have been enriched by our involvement with the RSVP Child Sponsorship Programme.

I am very impressed with way that sponsorship programme is run. I particularly like receiving a new photograph of Benjamin each year and especially delighted to have photograph of him holding the book and jigsaw I had sent him as a present. Being able to send him presents direct is a joy and knowing that he is receiving those presents, be they clothes books or toys, is a feature I like.

Regular letters keep me updated with news of both him and his family and am looking forward to him being old enough and having enough English to write his own letters Already he draws pictures and writes the English word underneath.

I like being able to follow his progress so closely and feel he is a very special little boy to me. He loves hearing details of all my family and enjoys receiving photos of events like my niece's wedding etc.

We have been delighted with the way things are organised and every letter we receive from our sponsored child we are grateful for. He tells us what he buys with the money we send him for Christmas and Birthdays. It is good to hear news from Rwanda regularly to feel we are being kept in touch with the progress of the work there which also means we can pray informedly.

John Ndahiro was one of our first sponsored children. He finished high school with such high grades, he won a government scholarship to go to college to study business management.

At this point his parents left the country. So RSVP continues to meet John's basic needs - helping with accommodation, food etc, for him and his two siblings.
