House of Mercy
Several years ago RSVP helped our partner organisation ANLM to build a House of Mercy orphanage in Rwanda. A place where children who have been orphaned through war, AIDS or genocide could come and be loved.
Through our partners’ generous donations we quickly raised the £25,000 needed to build the home. We initially put in 10 children though the house could accommodate 16 children. However, we only had sponsors for 10 of them.
We recently took a step of faith, with the help of one of our partners, and added 6 more children to the home.
