welcome to Ali's space

Hi, I'm Alison Fenning and I've been working for The RSVP Trust since 2003. I share the RSVP vision which is to: preach the gospel, teach disciples, and help the poor. Most of my work is done in the UK but I also get to travel to Africa, America and a few other cool places too.

In the UK...

Current| UK

In the UK, over recent years, I have been part of a prison chaplaincy team in a Suffolk women's prison and also lectured on Prison Fellowship's Compass Programme. This is an intensive 15 week course for men which forces them to face up to character issues, such as unresolved anger, and leads to a new pattern of life.

I am currently managing the Ipswich Project which reaches out to women involved in prostitution. I pioneered the project in 2005 and am now training Christians from local churches in outreach to the women.

Other time is spent travelling, mainly in the UK, to train church groups in evangelism and also meeting with church leaders to think through new strategies to reach their area or particular people groups.
